High-contrast colored panels on the 16-story office building in south Denver mimic the fast-moving light-rail trains and the cars on nearby Interstate 25. The building’s main corner includes a patio and a pavilion that invite in passers-by from the neighborhood.
Andre Kikoski Architect designed a simple Kiosk adaptation of one of the museum’s iconic geometric forms. The teardrop shaped plan is extruded into a sloping and gently torqued volume that is clad in a double skin of luminous faceted resin rain-screen panels layered over a stainless skin.
The city of Wayzata needed a new design for the next chapter of the local “Muni,” a bar, grill and liquor store near and dear to locals since 1947 on a major downtown redevelopment site. They worked with Emanuelson-Podas to help bring this project together.
