After aggressively burning the surface layer we wire-brush each plank multiple times to remove the soft char and expose the contrasting grain below. This heavily textured and visually dynamic surface can be left unfinished or can be coated with an exterior grade finish in an array of colors—shown here in Toasted | 2; warm gradients of brown and gold swirl with black char.
