A private, coeducational institution, Dexter’s hockey program is focused on productive players and people. As competitors in the New England Prep Division and a regular among the Elite 8, Dexter desired an ice rink enabling their team to excel.

goal was to advance margins through consolidating operations, increasing process efficiencies, and facilitating distribution. The key challenge was remaining functional while under construction.
The 40,000 SF skating facility entailed stadium seating, support facilities and an equipped machine room.
A core objective was patient sensitivity with a focus on visual and acoustic privacy throughout the clinic visit. This was solved with full-height insulated walls surrounding each step of the patient visit.
This addition added to the Senior Metal Bellows building consists of a first-floor manufacturing space with a second-story open floor plan for corporate offices, a full-service lunchroom, and an anterior entrance.
