Houston County hired Klein McCarthy Architects to assist with the master planning, design and construction of a new justice facility to replace their outdated 1857 jail. The new Justice Center includes a jury courtroom, hearing room, modern Law Enforcement Center, and an 82-bed jail.

Wesley United Methodist Church was struck by a tornado that took out its pipe organ, damaged much of the chancel/stage area and the rest of the sanctuary space. The Church took the opportunity to enhance the space for future generations while preserving its history.
