Nighttime turns the five lenses of Bendheim channel glass into ghostly illuminated forms that become a signature sculptural presence on the museum’s grounds.
Bendheim’s ultra-colorless, low-iron channel glass overclads two stories of existing curtain wall to preserve as much of the original building as possible, while delivering a distinctive branding opportunity for the client.
The shimmering white glass reflects images projected on the ceiling and conveys an icy appearance, symbolic of the original building’s function as cold storage facility, circa 1923.
