The four-story Millwright Building is new construction, but the historic-looking exterior visually links the building to Minneapolis's historic Mill District.
The redevelopment of the site included modern elements such as the BOL solid wood pole by Structura to mount lighting fixtures for the space.
The function in the design is the mezzanine level, encased with Kalwall panels, allowing instructors and researchers to view the large workshops below, creating an intimate relationship between the levels.
