A trademark façade is created with simple awning-style warehouse doors that are clad in double layers of weathered corten steel.
The double doors that separate the Entry Hall from the rest of the house were added by President Madison in 1814. Originally the Entry Hall moved directly into the Stair Hall through a decorative arch. The doors were added as an extra layer of security for the president's home.
The exterior facade has a modern window design that accentuates the unique aesthetic of the hospital. We provided our Sine Pole to help illuminate the outdoor parking and public spaces.
