Julie Williams of Larson & Darby Group in Rockford, Illinois says the school district wanted a design that was fun and bright, with a “wow” factor. The school also needed to reduce ambient noise in the cafetorium. Williams found the answer in MDC Wall product Zintra.
The dining area is very low-key and casual at the East Rock Brewing Company in New Haven, Connecticut. Newick Architects was the architect on this project.

With a unique city requirement to create a front-facing interactive lobby that could be classified as both retail and commercial, getting creative to develop the brand statement appropriate for Sotheby’s and engaging enough to attract both local and tourists was the design team’s challenge.
