Named after the distinguishable bark of the Australian Marri tree this screen uses geometric interconnected shapes made of Balsa wood in tinted finish. Each piece is a unique shape that contributes to a perfectly imperfect and organic whole. The screen is mounted to an internal metal base.

Awarded ENR California 2020 Best Higher Education project, UCLA Marion Anderson Hall is 64,000 square feet and 4-stories. It features active learning classrooms, auditorium and workspaces, and event and gathering spaces.
Due to the height of the building, design assistance was utilized to help engineer unique shear wall
base connections for large wind loads. In addition, the vault area was very congested with steel.
