Andre Kikoski Architect designed a simple Kiosk adaptation of one of the museum’s iconic geometric forms. The teardrop shaped plan is extruded into a sloping and gently torqued volume that is clad in a double skin of luminous faceted resin rain-screen panels layered over a stainless skin.
Café 3 creates inventive forms for an elliptical espresso bar and attenuated tapered counters. Though complex in geometry, their discreet calligraphy almost disappears. They enliven this first addition to the interior of Wright’s building with movement, sculpture, and surprise.
