As a public building in a transitional urban neighborhood, the goal for the new fire station was to create a highly functional, sustainable, and pragmatic building that is also a space where employees in high-stress jobs can relax, socialize, and connect with nature.
MODUS was challenged with renovating an existing building without as-builts. The scope of work included reworking existing equipment and pipe routing throughout the building. Part of the project included an addition for the new entrance/lobby into the Women's Center.
