Construction began in 2011 on the 644,000 sq. ft. building that would consolidate three of Maine General Hospital’s campuses in an effort to streamline their operations. With this consolidation came the challenge of finding flooring solutions that would be appropriate for multiple areas in an acute care facility. Tarkett was able to provide MaineGeneral with the fitfor- purpose solutions they desired.
