Due to the horizontal nature and free-flowing aspects of the design, a new approach to connections for the panels to structure was required in all areas. The floors had as much as a 35’ distance separating the levels increasing the need for a solution.
EKD/JLA desired an open office that promoted more social interaction between staff, while still providing separation for private offices.
Precast panels were selected to serve as a primary building element and an artistic expression of the winding river and rolling hills of the site. Gage Brothers provided the architectural precast panels for the Marshfield Hospital & Cancer Center.

The Boardwalk offers ample space for guests to explore, including a dock that oversees the lake. The BOL solid wood pole by Structura was used to mount area lighting fixtures while also providing natural design elements.
