Inspired by the traditional French Bistro, the owners and designer created a space that would transport patrons to Paris of the 1920s and rival the local competition, by Paris K Interior Design.
While the building must be secure, there was also a desire to create a civic space with community rooms open to a neighborhood that had no place to gather. An installation of firefighting artifacts in the lobby and a transparent apparatus bay both clearly demonstrate the facility’s mission.
Open meeting points throughout the office provide a comfortable workspace and promote teamwork and collaboration between co-workers. The open office design helps promote this collaboration and creates a relaxed environment. Photography by Alex Benge.
