The Prairiefire museum was designed by Verner Johnson Architects and Planners after it's namesake: the Kansas prairie fire. Goldray Glass's color-changing dichroic glass was used in the insulated glazing unit to mimic the flickering flames.
The shingles on the Shepard Branch Library are coined “dragon scales” by the neighborhood’s children. The hope is the shingles and space will continue to foster imagination and inspiration while providing a unique gateway entry experience to the Shepard Community.
