After three years of renovations, the hospital reopened in 2020 as the Hyatt Place and its extended-stay neighbor, the Hyatt House – together forming the centerpiece of a much larger complex expected to revitalize an entire district.
The Anschutz Center and the Vickers Boys & Girls Club, designed by OZ Architecture, earned the Mayor’s Design in 2014 and is the fourth ground-up project for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver that Kalwall has been involved with.

Along with the restoration of the façade, the north side of the building had changed significantly, at least twice, Patrick says, since original construction, and his team got to work rebuilding certain elements to reflect the original design.
The modular brick facade provides the illusion of weightlessness. The building uses daylight, open space, visual connection, and material cues so visitors can intuit their way through the building.

Tubelite Inc. provided its triple-glazed 400TU Series Therml=Block® curtainwall, as well as its T1400 I/O Series multi-pane storefront, operable windows, side entrance doors and INT45 interior framing systems for the Salt Lake City Fire Station no. 14.
The exterior facade of this parking structure features our Architectural and Structural Precast products that are available in the market for commercial buildings, bridges, stadiums, or parking ramps.
