Nilands in-house pattern and machine shop recreated the cast iron foundry tooling needed for an exact replication of the original 1920's light pole. Each section of the iron casting was sand blasted and several layers of paint removed revealed the raw iron casting.
A dramatic glass backdrop was added to the Crown Roller Mill lobby's already unique water feature, bringing this beautiful piece of art into the 21st Century.
