For a custom-made lighting installation in the Making the Modern World gallery, one of the flagship galleries at the Science Museum, London, rental company White Light turned to SGM's rail lights to fulfill their idea of a long-term lighting solution sympathetic to the existing look of the gallery.
For decades, the castle has been illuminated by conventional discharge lamps, which is a costly affair in regard to both power and maintenance. Therefore, Business Kolding and the Municipality of Kolding decided to implement a new and more up-to-date lighting solution using SGM luminaires.
These displays, provided by Tierney Brothers are 4.5 feet tall and just over 10 feet in diameter, and each has a viewable circumference of just over 32 feet. Each display weighs a total of 964 lbs. and is suspended from the ceiling in its respective viewing area.
