Mitigation plants can be found in areas on the property of the Austin Ranch community that are adjacent to drainage ways and along water edges, allowing them to act as a sediment and nutrient filter prior to drain water hitting our watershed.
Featuring “active learning classrooms, auditorium and workspaces, and event and gathering spaces,” the building aims to house everything “from admissions to student affairs, career support to alumni connections.” (UCLA Anderson)
Funded completely by donors, the Marion Anderson Center was designed by renowned architecture firms Gensler and Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. Giroux Glass was subcontracted to provide and install the building’s highly specialized window systems, including its show-stopping central atrium.
