Andre Kikoski Architect designed a simple Kiosk adaptation of one of the museum’s iconic geometric forms. The teardrop shaped plan is extruded into a sloping and gently torqued volume that is clad in a double skin of luminous faceted resin rain-screen panels layered over a stainless skin.
Wells Concrete was contacted with short notice to match the granite that was originally planned for the majority of this project. Despite the difference in materials used, both buildings looked the same when completed.
