The total precast structure includes precast columns, double tees, inverted tees, beams and spandrels. Exterior walls are spandrels with curtainwall glass. Sanford Heart Hospital provides innovative heart care and advanced cardiac diagnostic technology to detect and treat heart disease.
The complex design creates the appearance of a solid, corrugated wall during daylight hours. In the evening, the light filters through the perforated panels to reveal the interior against a solid backdrop.
