108 Chambers is a 10-story mixed use building in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City. The unique facade features custom geometric angular slab/spandrel metal panel formations surrounding the windows on the entire exterior, customized to the architect’s design.

The buildings border the American Airlines Center, home of the Dallas Mavericks. With a high profile broadcast station on the ground level of the east building, the project utilizes eight 15 by 31 foot LED screens that travel the length of the building on a motorized railing system.
The first of the five Bendheim channel glass “lenses” forms a bright and transparent lobby, with café, art library and bookstore, inviting the public into the museum and encouraging movement via ramps toward the galleries as they progress downward into the garden.

Although translucent, Kalwall offers the big advantage of privacy with elevations which appear crisp and simple. When illuminated at night, the building emits an inviting and welcoming glow.

The exterior features thin brick in three different finishes: Better Bisque, Dark Cocoa and Rolling Fog. The authentic full brick texture elevates the exterior design at David Reay's Modern Diner.
