Founded in 1981 by owner Wayne Stahl, Stahl Construction is a mid-size, full-service company that provides quality, competitively priced pre-construction and construction services with a focus on providing great service and personal attention.
Stahl has a staff of dedicated construction professionals—engineers, project managers, field superintendents, and support personnel—who bring to their projects a wealth of knowledge and experience in their respective fields. We approach our work with positive “can-do” attitudes and operate in an open, collaborative manner, which makes us particularly well-suited for working in a team environment.
With a workload of just 8–10 carefully selected projects at any one time, we can afford to devote the time and effort necessary to add value and make a positive difference for our clients, something larger firms may not be able to do.

Areas of Expertise:
While green design is primarily focused on the finished product, making construction less harmful to the environment is equally important. Construction projects inherently cause soil erosion, noise and traffic, and generate for every square foot of new construction nearly 2.5 pounds of waste. While we know of no way to eliminate these problems entirely, we make every effort to minimize them by using environmentally friendly construction techniques whenever possible.
Our LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professionals have a thorough understanding of green practices and principals. They are well-versed with LEED requirements and processes as well as the State of Minnesota’s Buildings, Benchmarks & Beyond (B3) guidelines for sustainability. Even if certification is not a requirement, we can still help with employing some of the best practices of green construction.
