The Spaces Inc. environmental goals and policy are focused to incorporate any and all processes within our office and field operations to minimize negative effects on the environment. Our office operations include paper recycling, use of CD’s and Flash Drives for proposals and other responses, E-fulfillment of manufacturer/distributor orders, scanning of communications, and utilization of current technology to minimize paper usage for internal and external communications.
Spaces Inc. will assist their clients in environmental initiatives through our own current processes, as well as through incorporation of other processes that arise from the opportunities working within the contract. This includes such practices as recycling and packaging of materials, re-use of materials and products, utilization of re-usable moving carts, and the use of environmentally friendly cleaning materials.
The field operations include several conservation practices. Plastic, cardboard, packaging materials and pallets are all separated for recycling and re-use. Environmentally friendly products are used for cleaning and refurbishing work when possible. Donation and disbursement programs are in place for the disposal of existing products and equipment such as computers. Efficiently planned daily truck routes are always implemented to reduce gas usage and minimize exhaust fumes. Blanket wrapping of products on trucks reduces the amount of packing materials required. Box move materials include the use of recycled materials and re-use containers instead of cardboard move boxes.
