Located in the former Central Elementary School, the Children's Museum of South Dakota houses several interactive exhibits including agricultural and prairie-oriented displays, a Mini Explorers area for young children, a “Helping House” exhibit showing how homes are built around the world in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity, and nature-oriented outdoor exhibits.
