New York Avenue Gallery--This small room, now used as gallery space, is attached to the Master Bedroom. This space most likely served as a nursery for the Tayloes. Anne Ogle Tayloe had 15 children, 7 of whom were born in the Octagon.

The “sunburst” mirror behind the bar consisted of multiple mirror “tiles” that fit together to form a decorative golden sun.
Inspired by the natural beauty and elegance of a flower in full bloom, Petals intentionally mimics the subtle nuance of real flower petals in sunlight with the way the light softly glows and gradates across the petals.

All stadium-style auditoriums are equipped with luxurious recliner seating, digital sound, and projection, and of course, offer Movie Tavern’s dine-in theater experience.
The 5-story new construction takes cues from the neighboring building heights while exploring facade patterns to weave into the local existing fabric. Murdock Solon Architects completed this project.
