The designers employed long-span, prestressed concrete double tees; located shear walls to the exterior plane; and provided large openings in both the shear walls and light walls to maximize openness and visibility, while providing natural light and ventilation.

A mix of glass and precast design can produce a stunning building exterior that turns heads. The FIU Student Academic Center is built to inspire with a burnished finished architectural precast facade with extreme angled fin panels with a metallic look.
The exterior of Ankeny High School features a brick finish with a glass window facade that creates a minimal, modern design.
The ballpark is clad in a mix of 470-479 Medium Range and Sea Gray brick and arches typical for the retro era.
