TemperShield® can be used as a structural component in modern design – in some instances the use of bent toughened glass can mean thinner, lighter stock is used whilst still meeting the required wind loading parameters. Its use will also increase natural light and the feeling of space.
The design team knew exactly what they wanted in terms of the projections in the precast exterior. Gate Precast was willing to step outside of the box and try something new to take this project from conception to reality.
Pure + FreeForm's .8mm aluminum wall panels in Art Deco were used on the exterior facade of The Canopy Hotel by Hilton in Portland, Oregon.

In total, the Donald Dugan Library has a 1,714 sq ft interior. The upper-level features workspace desks and meeting rooms with custom graphic glass.

The number of different window sizes led to thin precast shapes and challenges with designing the precast to handle the wind load requirements. Special connections spaced at 48 inches on center were used in each panel to handle these lateral load requirements.
The exterior facade of this parking structure features our Architectural and Structural Precast products that are available in the market for commercial buildings, bridges, stadiums, or parking ramps.
