Open office environments offer more than a modern workspace look. Breaking down walls increases communication and collaboration among team members, giving the entire workspace an overall synergetic feel.
The design for the Activities Room was inspired by the existing black & white murals that show the building’s history. Pops of color and strong geometric shapes were added throughout to bring life back to an outdated and underused formal lounge.
Clerestory windows and sliding barn-style doors bring additional natural light into the studios while the mirrored wall surfaces further expand light and views.

Art shouldn't just be a product splattered across every available wall, it should compliment the overall design of that space. This project was completed by Hennes Art Company at Grand Living at Citrus Hills in Hernando, Florida.
SCW2500 Series windows replaced both the lower-level wood windows and upper level steel windows without changing the exterior appearance or the daylight openings and applied muntin bars that were custom designed to match the original historic divided light windows.

The Douwstra Auditorium has been the heart of Central College’s campus since 1939 and a gathering place for music, the arts, conferences and guest speakers. This Edina MOB includes a 2-story open field house for physical therapy and a 3-story office building for a physical therapy clinic, prosthetics shop/treatment rooms, and an ambulatory surgery center on the second floor. Sperides Reiners Architects was the architect on this project.
