Manual ALMA system was choosen for this project. Our quick-lock system allows the user to lock the panels quickly and safely after positioning. A simple half-turn of the handle seals the wall at the top and bottom to prevent it from movement and to insulate it acoustically up to 54dB.
The cathedral-style ceiling and various feature walls of University of Florida’s Otis Hawkins Athletic Association were clad in 10,000sqft of Goodwin’s River-Recovered® Select Heart Pine.
All spaces have private decks overlooking the grove – each purposely angled and shifted relative to the next to maximize privacy between units. Bathrooms, built-in furniture, and storage are located in a central wood core – a box within a box configuration.
Designed by Louis Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright in 1890, this residence was damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Goodwin milled River-Recovered® Heart Pine Curly and Legacy Heart Pine Vertical Clear.
