The CoBank Center is a Class A, build-to-suit office complex. The 296,000 sf, 11-story office building with an attached 6-level precast parking structure that accommodates 950 cars is a showcase facility for Colorado workers.
Since SageGlass reacts to the sun and tints automatically to varying degrees, depending on the strength of the sunlight, installation of external shading systems was not not required, eliminating both the significant upfront and recurring costs of such system.
To accomplish the elegant and modern aesthetic, this project features the Longboard® 4 inch V-Groove Light Cherry
In direct light, the blues from Pure + FreeForms Graphic Collection have a pearlized hairline, giving further depth and visual interest. However, the most unique feature of the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium project is the metal tiles, purposefully designed to look like fish scales.
